My name is Christina and I come from Denmark when I was introduced to my British boyfriend’s family, they expected my name to be complicated and decided it was easier straightaway to name me Bob!
In Danish we have a saying that lovely children have many names, I saw Bob as a sign of acceptance and it has stuck ever since.
I started crafting around April/May 2016. My mother loved crafting. She did lots of sewing like patchwork, she liked scrapbooking and card making as well. Unfortunately my mother passed away from cancer in 2012. 60 years old. It wasn’t until my father passed away the 23rd December 2015 that I decided to move all of my mother’s craft stash to UK. My boyfriend built a hobby room in the attic for me and it is one of the best decisions. Now I sit in the attic making cards and scrapbooking or whenever elise, one of three cats we have, allows me to!
Elise is a 3 year old Kurilean Bobtail and she is the one able to climb the metal ladder up to the attic. And thank God for that, otherwise I wouldn’t get anything done at all! The two other cats are also kurilean Bobtails, Ferrari and Ginetta – brother and sister, and they are 6 years old.
I recently joined Stampin’ Up! and I really enjoy working with their products. I find their products to be top quality (just try the ink pads! or paper! not just amazing wowing stamp sets) and it helps making the cards perfect. I also love how you are able to colour coordinate. You get ribbons, embellishments, paper and ink in the same matching colours!
Please do not hesitate contacting me if you have any questions about Stampin’ Up! or my cards, I will be more than happy to answer.
