Adorable Hanging Garden Cards

Hello,

These adorable cards using Hanging Garden stamp set from Stampin’ Up! are really easy and quick to make. They can be used for many occasions – just pick one that fits you!

hanging garden card by stampin up using marina mist, berry burst and lemon lime twist

It feels like Christmas was ages ago even though it wasn’t. My sleep pattern hasn’t quite adjusted back into work-mode and my mind is everywhere else! I’m sure I can blame my phone for that even though I try to spend as little time using it because I just find myself in zombie-mode scrolling down endless Facebook posts! That’s what I like about crafting it gathers my thoughts and I focus on one thing at a time- with no scrolling!
Monday evening is my craft night. Fiancé cooks dinner and all I have to do is pop down from the attic to eat and then I go back! It’s amazing! I know not everybody is as lucky and has many other things to do around the house but if you plan a project in advance you can easily make it happen in an hour. The hanging basket with succulents is adorable and I haven’t really gotten over the succulent craze a year ago where we had succulents everywhere.

This card is easy and quick to do. It’s so quick I made 5 cards in one hour! – not all with wonky sentiments! Haha 🙂
Get all the card cut first, then get the inks out, colour and assemble – DONE!

Background bits cards

Background bits is definitely my first pick among Stampin’ Up’s host rewards. Here I made two very similar cards with the stamps in two different colours, Marina Mist and Tranquil Tide with a bit of a Moroccan feel to it.

Background Bits from stamping up

I used following items for these cards:

The background is straight forward stamping. I didn’t’t do it very carefully, but it was very easy and looks great. Cards are very quick and fun to make. I like the white border around the stamped background. It just adds a bit more of dimension. The tag and banner I stuck on with dimensionals. the bow can be a bit tricky to tie on the Tranquil Tide card I did add a glue dot just to hold the Burlap ribbon in place.

Cards are from the 27th of June 2017.

Delicate details birthday card

A card with lots of stamping and it doesn’t need to be that precise!
This could also easily be converted in to a wedding card and colours can be changed too. I just love Marina mist because it gives it a porcelain look and I chose to make it a birthday card as I have many birthdays coming up.

The delicate details stamp set is a free stamp set as long as you spend a minimum of £45 on Stampin’ Up! products during Sale a bration which lasts until end of March. You can find delicate details on page 9 in SAB catalogue.

I used following cardstock:

I also used:
I love the delicate details stamp set. It is very versatile and I will be using it a lot more in the future for like baby cards.
Also I love Marina mist; it was the first Stampin’ Up! colour I invested in and it is well worth buying ink and cardstock at the same time. Everything just coordinates so much easier!

Card is from 13th February 2017.

Don’t miss out on Pinterest!

After hours of watching Brandy’s cards videos I got hungry for more inspiration and my aunt recommended me using Pinterest. And oh my, there is a lot of pretty cards to be inspired by!
Petite petals punch used to punch out the flowers.
Scissors will do the job just perfectly as well!
This card was for my cousin’s birthday. She is danish therefore there is a danish happy birthday sentiment stamped.
This card was inspired by this pin, so very similar. I just loved the flower wreath and colours matching. I used a purple plum coloured ribbon to break the blue. The flowers are stamped with marina mist ink pad and the flowers are from the Petite Petal stamping set, both from Stampin’ up! I used whisper white and marina mist cardstock, also from Stampin’ up! I also, which might be difficult to see, embossed the middle of the wreath with a heart embossing folder.
I find it neat if you make a matching envelope to your card. It is very easy and finishes off the project nicely. I love this card and my cousin was very happy to receive it too 🙂
Card is from 27th August 2016.
